About Us

Since 1996, Tutoring For Excellence has been helping students build confidence and achieve their full potential. What began as a small Sydney startup, has grown into a network of expert tutors across Australia and New Zealand, supporting learners from Year 1 – 13, through to university and adult education.

Tutoring For Excellence is owned and operated by a qualified teacher and former principal with over 30 years of experience in both public and private education. Our Director was also a founding member and former Chairman of the Australian Tutoring Association.

Our success has been built on one foundation: personalised one-to-one tutoring creates an environment where students feel supported, motivated, and able to reach their full potential in ways that are often not possible in a classroom setting.

We offer individual tutoring for school-aged students, university learners, and adults, and also provide tailored educational support for Government programs, and corporate organisations.

Our online tutoring is available NZ-wide. In-home lessons are available across selected metro areas in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Australia.
